LPD were recently a key supplier to the hugely popular “makeover” programme DIY SOS hosted by charismatic, housewives favourite Nick Knowles, who’s rapidly earning himself the exalted status of TV’s Mr Fixit in the world of DIY.

In Programme 8, originally aired on BBC 1 on March 2nd and then repeated over the Easter Bank Holiday, the team were called into action on behalf of Stuart from Clevedon, Somerset. Following the untimely and premature death of his wife after a short illness, Stuart's time was at an absolute premium caring for his 3 boys, Toby Adam and Sam, meaning work on the extension he had planned with Hilary had unavoidably ground to a complete halt.

So, sympathetic to his plight, DIY SOS generously finished the job, turning a blank breezeblock canvass into a fabulous, funky media-lounge to provide a fun, relaxing environment to help the all male quartet return to normal family life.
